Tree Monitoring Activities Under the Integrated Resilient Savannah Agroforestry Project

stories

After the first phase of the tree planting exercise in August 2022, our team have been on the field monitoring the trees planted by beneficiary farmers and community members in the East Mamprusi District.

We are glad to share the overwhelming success rate of the trees’ survival. The young cashew trees have been guarded with protective equipment against grazing from livestock. Tree planting is not enough; it is very important to monitor young trees to ensure their proper growth for effective restoration and agroforestry.

CERATH will continue to support communities in their efforts to protect the environment and the source of their livelihoods.
