On Tuesday, 3rd November 2020, staff from CERATH Development Organization (CDO) had the opportunity to facilitate various activities at the maiden edition of the SNV Ghana GrEEn Job Fair in the Ahanta West Municipality. Mr. Prince Dacosta Aboagye, the Integrated Development Officer and Trainer at CDO made a presentation on interview preparation. Miss Maame Kyerewaa Brobbey, the Gender and Research Advisor, and Youth Coach at CDO also participated in reviewing the CVs of participants.
The GrEEn Job Fair forms part of activities in the implementation of the Boosting Green Employment and Enterprise Opportunities in Ghana (GrEEn) Project. The project is funded by the European Union in Ghana through the EU Emergency Trust Fund (EUTF) for Africa and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ghana.
In all, over 200 youth participated in the fair which brought together exhibitors in the green sector in the fields of agriculture, Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), and renewable energy. CERATH Development Organization is excited to announce that it will be conducting employability and entrepreneurship training, as part of the GrEEn Project for 300 youths, women, and returnee migrants in the Ahanta West Municipality.
