Providing Renewable Energy to Rural Communities
Access to energy is an integral part of agriculture. It enhances primary production all the way to processing. More often than not, access to clean and renewable energy serves as a constraint for the agricultural sector.
CDO seeks to increase access to clean energy, and also institute models aimed at enhancing affordability and adoption. We focus on a wide range of clean energy sources such as solar, biomass, and biogas for irrigation, drying, and fish smoking purposes, and other agro-processing activities.
