REQUEST FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES – ENDLINE EVALUATION
The Coconut Waste Project, co-funded by the European Union (EU) under the Circular Economy and Local Development Program, is a four-year initiative implemented by CERATH Development Organisation (CDO – lead), the La-Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly (LaNMMA), and the Tree Crops Centre (TCC). The project was designed to promote a green circular economy and create livelihood opportunities within the La-Nkwantanang-Madina Municipality (LaNMMA) through value addition to coconut husks (waste). Its main beneficiaries include coconut vendors, unemployed youth, market actors, LaNMMA, and adjoining communities.
The project officially commenced in January 2020 and has now reached the end of its four-year implementation cycle. An independent endline evaluation is required to assess the overall achievements, outcomes, and lessons learned. The evaluation will examine the project’s performance against its objectives, focusing on relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability. It will also highlight best practices, challenges, and recommendations for future programming in circular economy and local development initiatives.
CDO is therefore requesting the services of a consultant or consulting agency to undertake the endline evaluation.
