CERATH Development Organization (CDO), with funding from the European Union under the Civil Society Organization in Research and Innovation for Sustainable Development program (CSO-RISE), has been implementing the Power to the Fishers (PTF) project, which is coming to a closure. The goal of the project was to enhance the socio-economic livelihoods of fishing communities within selected districts of Ghana’s coastal savannah zones. The main beneficiaries of the project are fisherfolk in selected fishing communities of Awutu Senya, Effutu municipality, Ekumfi, Gomoa West, and Shama districts within the Ghanaian coastal savannah zone.

The PTF Project, which is coming to a close in February 2023, seeks to develop a documentary to communicate the project’s impacts and successes.
